Early Life and Family
Wahaj Ali was born on December 1, 1988, into a Punjabi Muslim family in Lahore, Punjab. His father was a government employee, and his mother worked as a teacher. Ali, an only child, was encouraged by his parents to pursue a career in civil service. However, his passion for acting led him to follow a different path. He graduated with a degree in Business with a specialization in Finance and later earned a Master’s in Multimedia Arts from the National College of Arts. During an internship program at Samaa TV, he met his future wife, Sana Farooq, and they married on March 3, 2016. The couple has a daughter named Amirah, born in 2017.

Wahaj Ali started his career working in the news and programming department at a TV channel. From 2009 to 2011, he worked as an assistant producer at Samaa TV and then joined Geo TV as a producer in 2011. Currently, he is playing a cricket player named Junaid in Green Entertainment’s drama series “22 Qadam,” opposite Hareem Farooq.
